As a dedicated and reliable tutor, I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. Having successfully completed the 11+ and now studying at Westcliff High School for Girls, I understand the demands of the exam and what it takes to succeed. I am organised, patient, and have a strong passion for maths, which I enjoy sharing with my students. My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and focused on building strong understanding and confidence. I use practice papers and past papers to familiarise students with 11+ exam style questions, while also breaking topics down into simple, step by step explanations so they fully understand each concept. I include regular questions and small challenges to keep lessons interactive and engaging.
A typical lesson lasts around 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s focus and needs. I have completed the 11+ myself and currently attend Westcliff High School for Girls, so I understand the exam process and what students need to succeed. My lessons are aimed at 11+ and primary school students who want to improve their skills in maths and I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s level and pace.
