The most important task of a teacher is to engage their students; only then can they teach rather than simply talk. While I tailor my lessons to meet the needs of each student, I remain committed to my belief inthe importance of a strong foundation in English. This includes a broader appreciation of culture and language (that is, not simply learning by rote). I also include interesting cultural and historical perspectives in my lessons. I look forward to sharing this passion with you. My lessons typically last an hour but am flexible regarding time. I have over five years of experience as a tutor. My lessons are suitable for anyone of any age; I am friendly, outgoing and committed to doing the best for my students.
