About Goldie
Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently excelled in my studies, earning credits for AP English in high school and maintaining a 4.0 GPA. However, my dedication to learning extends beyond the classroom. I have spent the past 3 years volunteering, helping students in both school and private practice settings to improve their speech and literacy skills. My passion for language and communication has also led me to take university-level courses in linguistics, languages, and psychology. I am eager to continue learning and exploring new subjects, and I am always open to connecting with others and sharing my knowledge and experiences.

Lessons for any age including elementary, middle, and high school looking to learn any aspect of Academic English. A typical lesson would include gaining an understanding of what material the student wants to learn or clarify, and then not only providing them with my own lessons, but also curating materials for them to use on their own. I provide thorough explanations of concepts using examples that are relatively easy to grasp. I will always check back to make sure the student feels comfortable with the material and how it is being delivered. While studying psychology, I have been formally educated on the most effective methods of learning and memory retention, which I make use of when tutoring. I am proficient in many online systems used in academia, and utilize these platforms to create effective and easy to digest study materials.
