About Jawad

As a student myself, I understand best how to scaffold learners from scratch to exam success. I’ve had experience tutoring in-person in London before. 4A* predicted at A-level, offer holder for Design Engineering MEng at Imperial College London, and winner of the 2024 UK Space Design National Finals.

About the lesson

On top of teaching you the content you need to succeed, I strongly believe in the power of metacognitive strategies: strategies that encourage students to monitor and evaluate their own learning - so that students come away from my lessons asking themselves the questions that drive a passion for the subject. I empower students to take charge of their own learning and become self-sufficient.

There's very few people who approach teaching with genuine enthusiasm and care. Jawad is one of those people. Teaching with care, patience and eloquence, Jawad strives to support those around him with any question theu may ask, and he always does it with a grin. Competent and kind, a combo every tutor needs.
