About Akash
My name is Akash Grewal and I am a student-athlete at UBC, playing on the varsity volleyball team. In addition to my athletic commitments, I am passionate about academic excellence and personal growth, which I bring into my role as a tutor. I have experience balancing the rigorous demands of varsity athletics with my studies, which has taught me the importance of time management, discipline, and effective learning strategies. I use these skills to help students not only master course material but also build confidence in their abilities to learn and succeed.
As a tutor, my goal is to create a supportive and professional environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring challenging concepts. I focus on tailoring my teaching methods to each student’s unique needs, encouraging their growth and fostering a deeper understanding of the subject. I am committed to helping students achieve their goals and gain the skills and confidence needed for future success.
