About Abida
An organised and hardworking student with a reputational history of tutoring experience with an additional desire to commit to new opportunities to achieve excellence and gain new skills. I can deliver an immersive learning experience both on an individual basis as well as in group settings through developing rapports with students to establish an engaging learning environment.
I am currently studying Master of Pharmacy at University College London and so I am eager to share my expertise in Mathematics and Chemistry with students in order to help them excel academically and strengthen weaker areas in their learning.

My ultimate aim is to teach my students to become independent learners. Critical thinking is an excellent way to help encourage students to analyse topics in a subject in a deeper, more analytical manner. This by asking them questions that don't just have a yes or no answer but an openness for further elaboration in order to identify any weak spots or how much the student understands. It is then vital to test their knowledge after learning a topic through assessments by giving them exam questions.
If I am tutoring a student in a subject that involves a significant degree of memory work, I utilise fast-paced drills. I drill them frequently on particular points to ensure they retain important facts and information.
