About Theodore
Hi! I'm a Biochemistry student at UCLA. I've always enjoyed STEM courses because I love doing experiments, but I am also pretty good at calculations and concepts, too.
A bit about my high school self is that I've taken 12 AP courses with 10 5s and 2 4s. I was captain of my school's boys' varsity tennis team and manager of the girls' team. I was also involved in clubs at my school including Key Club and NHS.
On paper, I guess it looks pretty good, but honestly I was waitlisted from UCLA and uncertain if I would get in. I have many regrets about what I have done, so I'm always willing to give college application advice to make sure you succeed!

I believe understanding a concept is much more valuable than simply memorizing it. In my lessons, I focus on breaking down difficult topics into smaller, easier-to-understand ideas and helping students understand the “why” behind what they’re learning.
As a UCLA Biochemistry student, I teach middle and high school science and math, including AP courses. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, whether that means reviewing foundational concepts, working through practice problems, preparing for a test, or tackling a topic they’re struggling with.
My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand how to get there on their own.
