About Nibedita
An aspiring UGC-NET qualified PhD-aspirant, I recently completed my MA in English Literature from the University of Delhi. My postgraduate dissertation is titled, “Idea of Home, Belonging and Political Violence: A Study of Robin Ngangom's Poems.” This project critically engages with contemporary borderland poetry, examining how regional conflict, state violence, and displacement fracture traditional frameworks of citizenship and cultural belonging. My research interests are in Diaspora Studies and Post-Colonial Studies, with a primary research interest in the intersections of geopolitical trauma, memory, and the spatial politics of identity.
