About Csenge

I have a strong background in Early Years Education, with Level 6 Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), a SENCO qualification, and over four years of experience working with children aged 0–7. Having progressed to Deputy Nursery Manager, I have extensive experience supporting children’s learning and individual needs through play-based activities.

Music has been a big part of my life. I have around five years of music education, including solfège, eight years of singing lessons in musical theatre and classical vocals, five years in a musical theatre group, and I am currently a member of the West End Musical Choir. I have experience performing, singing harmonies and recording at Abbey Road Studios.

I also play the ukulele and would love to introduce children to music through fun, age-appropriate activities involving singing, rhythm, simple songs and strumming. My aim is to make learning enjoyable while nurturing each child’s confidence, creativity and love of music.

About the lesson

Introduce your little ones to the joy of music through fun and engaging ukulele sessions! Designed for early years children, my lessons encourage creativity, rhythm, listening skills and confidence while exploring songs and making music together. Each session offers a wonderful opportunity to for children to learn, play and express themselves through music.

The first session is free and gives us a chance to discuss your child’s current musical experience, interests, and what you would like them to achieve through the lessons. Through fun, playful musical and rhythmic exercises, I’ll explore their current level, coordination, sense of rhythm and familiarity with the ukulele. This will help me identify the next steps and create a personalised learning plan tailored to your child’s needs, interests and goals.

Taking your child’s age and developmental stage into consideration, ukulele lessons will be 45 minutes rather than a full hour. This allows enough time to learn and practise while keeping sessions fun, engaging and age-appropriate. Shorter lessons help children maintain their concentration and attention, avoid feeling overwhelmed or tired, and stay motivated and excited about learning music.

Ukulele lessons are 45 minutes rather than an hour, taking your child’s age into consideration. This helps maintain their concentration, prevent tiredness and overwhelm, and keep lessons fun, engaging and motivating!
