About Summer
I am currently a youth gymnastics coach looking to take in tutoring of art students with the goal to pursue my art education certification, eventually also leading into a master’s program with long-term goals to be able to teach at the university level as well. In my spare time, I love reading, being involved with the community through volunteering to help with animals, and also learning new things every day myself to consistently continue to grow as a person.

I tailor each child’s education and experience with their environment and interests to help them engage with the subject matter. This inspires enthusiasm for art without forcing a generalized education rhetoric and allowing students self-expression to learn with their interests, not against them.
