About Anja
I have taught, subbed, and interned for 2nd grade to 12th grade. I'm big on getting to know my students and tailoring my lessons to specific needs. I believe firmly that while math and science and economics help us to live, english and history is what teaches us to become. I will always go above and beyond, give my 110%, and carry my passion into every lesson. But if that's not enough to convince you of how interesting I am, here's Two Truths and a Lie:
1. I've been bitten by a snake 7 times
2. I'm a mud wrestling champion
3. I'm a certified chiropractor in Iowa

As an aspiring educator, reading and writing are nothing if not the foundation of our lives. I have found passion and purpose in these activities, and in teaching others to love them just as much as I do! I have a passion for analytical reading, essay writing, deepening our understanding of literature and how it relates to us now.

Details
Since I'm a student (and gas is expensive), my online rates will be cheaper than in person. However, in person is where I thrive best, and where I believe students and teachers thrive the most as well. I will supply all my own materials, so tell me what you need me to have and we'll go from there!
