About Sam
I'm an undergraduate biochemistry and math double major attending Indiana University - Bloomington. During high school, I found success in my math classes, earning a 5 on both the Calc 1, Calc 2, and Statistics AP exams. As my school's math team captain, I helped reach third place in state competition. I've worked the past five years (four technically because of camp shutting down in 2020) at Ransburg Scout Reservation as a counselor teaching requirements for merit badges. During this time, I've earned multiple honors, awards, and ranks including Eagle scout and the Minisino honor.

With four years experience teaching as a scout camp counselor, a passion for learning the intricacies in mathematics, and three years of tutoring experience with multiple students, I can help students not only learn how to do things, but I can also show multiple different approaches to a topic in order to give the greater understanding of what's actually happening that's necessary in different environments and for different problems.
