About Arthega
I achieved an A* at GCSE level, which fueled my passion for English, leading me to further pursue the subject at A-level. With extensive experience in English, I have honed my skills and deepened my understanding of the subject. Currently, I am studying Law at City University, where my strong foundation in English continues to support my academic success. I am also well-versed in 11+ and 13+ exams, and though I have primarily studied under EDUQAS and OCR exam boards, I am very thorough with other boards such as AQA. I am quite familiar with exam specifications and understand what examiners look for, ensuring my students are well-prepared to excel. I have extensive experience teaching students across a wide range of age groups, from Year 2 to Year 11, adapting my teaching approach to suit the varying needs, abilities, and learning styles of different age levels. This has enabled me to develop a strong understanding of curriculum requirements and effective strategies for engaging students at every stage of their education. Importantly, I have a proven track record of delivering results. I have supported GCSE students in significantly improving their grades, including helping students progress from grades 1–2 to achieving 7, 8, and 9s. This reflects my ability to identify gaps in understanding, implement targeted strategies, and guide students towards high-level performance.Currently, I am further developing my teaching skills by working with a tutoring company, where I provide targeted support to help students achieve their academic goals. She is a very kind and helpful teacher. She supported my daughter whenever she was stuck and explained difficult questions in a way she could understand. Her lessons are engaging, and she is a wonderful teacher overall.
