About Amrit
I’m Social Science teacher who loves sociology and teaching! I really want my students to get the grades they deserve and fall in love with the subject.
I’ve been teaching for more than 10 years and currently teacher in Birmingham.

As an experienced teacher I believe that students need to improve more than a grade level with plenty of examples, detailed explanations and feedback that makes sense to you!
I look at mock answers, model answers, exam questions and try to make synoptic links so you get that AH HA moment.
I like to do lessons where you get a bespoke PowerPoint that includes key terms, sociologist, application, evaluation points and then an exam question with a model answer and then one that is half done that we complete together.
My goal is to make sure that each lesson we work on 3 skills and over time you master them confidently (and you don’t need me anymore)
I’m a former grammar school teacher who has had 86% results for A level sociology.
A lesson with me is the same as a school intervention but personalised to you!
