About Samantha
Hi! I have a strong foundation in math and science, currently pursuing my goal of becoming a pediatrician as I get my undergrad degree at FSU. I currently work as a Patient Care Assistant at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, conduct research at the FSU College of Medicine, and teach General Chemistry labs at Florida State University. I also tutor General Chemistry I & II and am confident in teaching any level of math up to Calculus I, as well as chemistry, biology, and general sciences for middle and high school students. Clear communication is at the heart of my teaching approach. My passion for working with children is longstanding—I previously taught private cello lessons for six years throughout middle and high school, which helped shape my communication style to be patient, encouraging, and adaptable. In high school, Samantha tutored my in SAT prep and increased my score 320 points! She now tutors me in calculus and is a great teacher, she is not only patient but she is very nice and is easy to talk to. I couldn’t recommend her enough!
