About Nikolayshia
I am a current student at Hampton University of Hampton, Virginia. I'm from Chicago, Illinois. Being a college student has allowed me to develop how to assess the way that students think and how they can accomplish their academic dreams. I was a TA all throughout my high school career and this has also helped me become an expert on not only learning the substance of the work but learning how students operate and taking into account different students' learning styles. I am interested in learning about the students' well-being along with how they feel about the criteria they are learning.

Hi! My name is Nikolayshia and I am excited to work with you.
Lessons will typically go as the student bringing what they are struggling in to the session and I will work to further their understanding on the unit/topic. I do not think that students will be able to fully grasp the understanding of a topic based on one session. It takes time and effort in and outside of sessions to have a good hold on what is being learned. I adapt to each students learning style and will evolve their styles by suggesting different methods that may help even more than what they are used to. I tutor grades 4th through 8th.
