I like to give one to one help with any questions a student may have and show them full methods so that they can learn for themselves and are not just getting shown as I have learnt that this is not an effective way to teach.
I am a student at university who has just completed 4 a levels. After I left my secondary school with a 9 in maths and an A in further maths I went back to help tutor both foundation and higher tier GSCE year 11 students.
I am a first year full time student looking for a part time job to earn money alongside my studies and develop crucial life skills which can only be found in the working world. I hope to find a job that can help me progress and gain experience while character building.
Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy kayaking and I intend to join a local club to help advance my ability at this activity including two-man kayaks which involve you working in harmony with the person with which you are teamed up, helping create communication skills.

NCS- a four week programme involving a outdoor residential, a stay in university accomodation and a volunteer project where we both raised funds and completed work to improve the community. YESS- this was a week long summer school focusing on STEM subjects.

Experience While in school I was appointed as treasurer for the student council which held a meeting every friday to discuss how to improve the school for all the students and how we could raise funds to do this. Once I had left school, for the first term that I attended college I returned to my school to do mentoring to both foundation and higher maths students in afterschool hours.

Anya is a consciences individual with patience in abundance, a great mathematician. She volunteered on a weekly basis to support year 11 students in their maths GCSE giving the students a greater chance to succeed. The year 11 students felt that Anya enhanced their experience and greatly benefitted.
