About Amir
I'm as professional as it gets. But expect a joke here and there.
If you want a seasoned computer scientist and software engineer to bring you to mastery, I'm your guy.
I try to bring a semi-casual environment to sessions, to better establish rapport between me and my students.
And don't worry, I'm not new to this. I've had several months of formal teaching experience as a teaching assistant for 2 UC Berkeley data science classes. I taught several students for 4 hours a week, providing personalized examples and exercises on logically complex topics.

I take a personalized approach for every student with an approach that follows 3 steps:
Understand what you already know about the subject with questions and exercises.
Give knowledge on uncomfortable topics, via hands-on examples.
Complete exercises with the student, offering assistance only when the student is stuck. By offering help only when stuck, the student will not only memorize solutions but understand them.
