About Abigail
I am an undergraduate student studying BSc in Accounting and Finance. I received an 8 in GCSE Maths and went on further to do A-Level Maths. Honestly, Maths did not used to be my favourite subject. I sincerely hated numbers and every time I saw them I sighed. I avoided maths homework anytime I could and used "the dog ate it" excuse. I only started to enjoy maths when I understood a topic or question. This made me happy because I knew what I was doing and I was helping other people. From this, I always wanted to understand maths and I started to do private practice at home. Soon, I absolutely loved maths and wanted to show my love for it to others. I feel like if you pretend maths is your favourite subject, then it will be. That is why I love to teach it. Making students smile when they understand the question or get it right really warms my heart.

In the maths lessons with me, I will go through topics students don't feel confident in. We will go through content and practice questions and then move onto exam questions. Next lesson will always be a recap, testing students on the topic we did the lesson before. A lesson will last for about 1-2 hours depending on preference. I am an undergraduate student currently studying a BSc in Accounting and Finance. I completed both my GCSEs in which I got an 8 in Maths, and A-Levels Maths, Physics and Psychology. I have 2 years' experience as a Maths GCSE tutor. I teach in particular to secondary school students (Year 7 - Year 11) aged 11-16. However, anyone retaking GCSE maths, I also tutor for.
