About Harini
Hey! I'm Harini, a current undergraduate at Case Western Reserve University studying Neuroscience and Psychology on the Pre-Med track.
Throughout my school career, I've helped my friends/family work through challenging curricula and found this to be a gratifying endeavor. I later branched out and became an SAT & STEM subject-based tutor, which only reinforced my passion for teaching.
From my experience, I KNOW that there is a way to learn ANYTHING; it's just a matter of finding a way to learn that works for you (which is what I hope we can find together).

Hi! I'm Harini! I'm currently in college, pursuing a B.S. in Neuroscience and B.A. in Psychology (on the Pre-Med track) at Case Western Reserve University. As a student myself, I understand the (many) difficulties that school may present—challenging topics are often taught at too fast a pace, while opportunities for additional support (i.e., extra worksheets, office hours) are limited. My favorite teachers/professors were those that stayed to thoroughly answer my endless questions, that transformed learning from an intimidating to an engaging process, and helped me build the confidence I needed to solve a challenge myself. Understandably, not every teacher has the time nor ability to satisfy each student's needs, which is where I hope to come in.
Throughout high school and college, I've helped my sibling and friends better understand their curricula. Although every person has different learning methods, I've found that EVERYONE has the capacity to master a topic, given the proper tutoring. Indeed, I have had success in helping those close to me build long-term understanding of concepts. To clarify, this success did not just entail better grades. Rather, those taught by me grew to appreciate what they were learning and were motivated to learn on their own. Even better, they built new study strategies, which they could apply to achieve success in other subjects.
Although I enjoyed informally tutoring my family/friends, I wanted to grow my teaching experience and became an SAT tutor. As I'd previously experienced, my clients left sessions with more confidence in their own skills, improved study habits, and less "fear" towards more intimidating subjects. Doing so is always gratifying and something I hope to continue on this platform. Feel free to reach out with your unique requests, and I'll be sure to reply fast!

Perfect! Harini is very patient with my 11 year old. She tolerates math but likes Harini.
