About Sarah
I am an undergraduate student at the University of York studying philosophy and politics. My enjoyment for these subjects stems from learning essential English and grammatical skills, especially how to write a good essay. Having studied English Language at A-Level, I am interested by the subject, and want to help others enjoy English as much as me! I have been an English and maths tutor for over two years and feel confident in my ability to teach others and help them find confidence in themselves.

Experience of tutoring 4 to 16 year olds maths and English for over two years at a First Class Learning Centre . Following an interactive, student-based approach to tutoring, combining challenges for the students with relaxed consolidation of what they know. Lessons can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, and a for a range of students from primary school to A-level standard.
