About Caiwei(EIleen)
I am an international student from China and I've been in Australia for about 3 years. I completed my high school in Gold Coast, Queensland and I'm now doing Bachelor of Biomedicine in University of Melbourne. I'm fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese. I achieved QCE 98/100 in External Chinese and ATAR 97.8. I was high-achieving in the Chinese subject even back in China (within the top 1% in my city).
I have been tutoring since last year for middle school and high school students for all subjects they are doing, both in-person and online. My students love me and stick with me for long term. They achieve A level in most of the subjects I've tutored. They reflect that they are inspired by the way I approach their problems, and they become more confident to complete work well independently.

My name is Caiwei (Eileen) Lin. As an international student, I have the experience of living in both Australia and China, and I'm passionate about the cultural difference behind the difference of languages.
My completion and high achievement in QCE External Chinese gives me familiarity with the school system of language teaching. If you are a school student, I will help you finish your assessments the best you can with an understanding of the curriculum.
In my teaching, I like to combine the textbook content with my own knowledge about the topic. You always get more than you expected out of my class. As a high achieving student in Chinese subject even back in China, my understanding of the language is much greater than average. You can learn characters, improve vocabulary and expression quicker, better, and with fun when I involve the story and culture behind words and grammar in my teaching. I can also share my experience of living between eastern and western cultures with you so that you can learn some fun facts, gain an insight into the countries behind the language you study or see your culture from a different angle.
