About Miada
I am a young professional that works in tech. Although my profession is mainly on the business side of things I am very passionate about learning and education and I believe my passion for STEM subjects can really be seen in my teaching. I think that often STEM can become uninteresting to students because teachers have to adhere to a strict curriculum but I am the adult that likes the question 'why?'.

I use the National curriculum to create a lesson plan. My lesson plans are broken into 3 sections:
-Sections 1: I explain the theory behind the subject, explain some real life applications and add context that hopefully inspires curiosity and interest in the subject
-Section 2: I work through an example question with the student, because I believe this is what often works best. I may go through a few worked examples depending on the students needs
-Section 3: I allow the student to independently work through some example exam questions (from either past exam papers or similar to exam papers) where I will test their knowledge and see if there are any gaps I need to fill.
The typical length of my lesson is an hour to an hour and a half depending on the students needs
I have tutored 4 GCSE students previously while I was at university in Maths, Science and English. However my strengths are definitely in STEM subjects.
My lessons are typically for GCSE/A-Level students
