Hi! I'm Lauren Lodowski, a recent University of Florida graduate with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Throughout my education, I've developed strong skills in writing, grammar, communication, and test preparation, and I enjoy helping students strengthen those same skills.
I understand that asking for help can sometimes feel intimidating, which is why I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My name is Lauren Lodowski, and I believe every student learns differently. My approach to tutoring is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student's individual needs. Rather than simply memorizing rules, I help students truly understand concepts so they can apply them confidently both in school and on tests.
In English, grammar, and spelling lessons, I focus on building strong foundational skills while keeping sessions engaging and approachable. For ACT preparation, I work with students on test-taking strategies, time management, reading comprehension, grammar rules, and targeted practice questions designed to improve both confidence and scores.
As a recent University of Florida graduate, I understand the challenges students face and how important it is to have someone who can explain things clearly and without judgment. I pride myself on being relatable, supportive, and able to break down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps. My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to help them feel more confident in their abilities. My lessons are ideal for elementary, middle school, and high school students looking to strengthen their English skills, improve their grades, or prepare for the ACT.
