About Caitlin
I am a full-time cover teacher in a secondary school where I teach students aged 11 to 18 a range of subjects including Maths, Science, Geography and Business. My specialism is Maths and I am training to be a Maths teacher, therefore I have good knowledge of the Maths curriculum for secondary age. I hold a first class honours degree in Psychology and A-levels in Maths, Psychology and Travel and Tourism.
I also have experience as a private tutor to 2 GCSE students who I tutored in Maths and Science for 2 years prior to their GCSE exams. I also run an after-school Psychology programme at the school I teach at for ages 11 to 16.
I will tutor ages 11 to 16 in Maths, including GCSE level, and will provide the materials for this. I can also teach Biology, Physics, Chemistry or Combined Science if the student or parent can provide resources, such as a revision book. I will also tutor Psychology at GCSE, A-level and degree level and will provide the materials for this too.

I have an enthusiastic approach to teaching and will use a variety of teaching methods and styles to suit each individual student. I also will tutor in the students home to ensure that they feel comfortable in their working environment. I know Maths can be a daunting subject for many students which is why I break the topics down and aim to help them realise that it`s not so scary after all!
I am also running some summer programmes for those who are less confident in Maths and wish to get up to scratch before they begin or start back in September.
