I have a somewhat alternative approach to education and learning. I very much like to couple education and physical activity and make sure my student is fully concentrated on their studies in my sessions. I strive to give them a holistic understanding of the subject so they can equate it to real life experiences.
I would like to give lessons to GCSE students and younger, who wish to receive extra help in history. I approach topics with enthusiasm because, despite some seeming 'boring', all topics in history have something interesting worth learning about. My teaching methods include, discussing the topics and putting across opinions on both sides, as well as creating spider diagrams and planning out essays.
I prefer for tutees to pose the questions as a form of active learning, rather than listening or being lectured at on a topic, active engagement with considered and effective prompting allows tutees to realize their own potential and to engage with the material in a far better way
