I have a somewhat alternative approach to education and learning. I very much like to couple education and physical activity and make sure my student is fully concentrated on their studies in my sessions. I strive to give them a holistic understanding of the subject so they can equate it to real life experiences.
I have almost 20 years experience of teaching in primary education. I have always has an interest in maths since being at school myself. I have challenged myself to increase the range of strategies at my disposal in order to enable my students to find the best method to suit their learning style.
I am willing to teach at any level from primary school to A-level further maths. My preferred method of teaching is that the student already has in their mind the topics they would like to cover (and lets me know before the session), this will generally be topics that they're struggling the most with which I can help them understand better.
Ruby Chaudhry (concealed information)5 (concealed information) I given lessons to anyone aged between 10-16 i.e. which is primary, secondary and GCSE level pupils. Living in Doncaster and studying at degree in Sheffield Hallam University has given me the insight of teaching students and helping them gain the grades they wish for.
I have a flexible teaching methodology. I believe that all people are different and students learn in a variety of different ways using a variety of different techniques.
My teaching method is learning by example. I find the easiest way to learn is practice rather than theory. As I have recently come through the education system, I know what works.
My teaching methodology is to make things fun! Who wants to learn out of a textbook, copying things down? Let's face it, not a lot of people! Who said that Maths can't be fun? I have an A Grade GCSE Qualification and I would love to help those, who may be struggling, to achieve highly!
