About Rory

I am Rory Skinner, your new guitar teacher! I've been playing guitar for just under 20 years, and teaching for 10 years. I have helped students of all ages and walks of life achieve their individual dreams of guitar playing. As a B-Mus graduate, music is a major part of my life that I truly enjoying sharing. I believe that with the right guidance, any aspiring or developing guitar player can achieve their musical goals.

About the lesson

Nothing worse than stuffy or uncomfortable music lessons! I believe in nurturing a relaxed atmosphere that is conducive to learning well. Here is what you can expect from my lessons:

- Interest-based learning to suit your interests
- Dedication to ensuring that musical concepts and
techniques are fully understood
- Lessons in either English or Afrikaans
- Beginner, intermediate or advanced students welcome
- Assistance with obtaining all levels of music grades (RockSchool, Trinity)

Rory has helped me tremendously with cleaning up my playing and mastering some advanced techniques, like sweep picking. Super chilled and patient teacher, I would recommend him highly if you are in need of a guitar teacher.
