About Salma
Hi, I’m Salma, a university student offering English tutoring and Arabic lessons for international students and all learners.
I have experience in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, including advanced English Literature, as well as exam preparation. As a native Arabic speaker, I also provide clear and structured Arabic lessons for beginners and learners of all levels.
I understand what it is like to learn a language as a second language and progress to an advanced academic level. Because of this, I focus on making lessons clear, supportive, and easy to follow, while helping students build real confidence in speaking, writing, and understanding.
My teaching style is patient, approachable, and interactive. I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals whether that is improving communication, preparing for exams, or simply becoming more comfortable using English or Arabic in everyday situations.
I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making steady progress. Mistakes are encouraged, it's a part of the learning process!

My approach as a tutor focuses on tailoring lesson plans to each student’s needs and goals. Whether it is exam preparation, academic progress, or general communication skills, I create a structured plan and guide the student through it step by step!
A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, working through exercises or assignments, and having interactive back and forth practice rather than just me talking. I encourage active participation so students can actually use the language, not just learn it.
What sets me apart is that I understand what it is like to learn English as a second language and progress to an advanced academic level. As a university student who writes academic analysis papers, I can support students step by step and guide them through the learning process. Whether the goal is just improving communication, passing an exam, or just being able to get by and speak confidently in everyday situations, I adapt my teaching accordingly. The same applies to Arabic, where I help learners build confidence gradually from the basics upward.
My lessons are for international students and all learners, from beginner to intermediate level, including those who want academic support in English or want to learn Arabic for communication or study.
