About Banan
I am an African Studies and Linguistics student who has been giving private lessons for 3 students for the past 2 years specifically in the English A-level and AS-level curriculum. I am currently about to embark on my final year of university on track to achieve a first class Bachelor of Arts. I have consistently achieved high firsts in all modules regarding my chosen subject and achieved As in my A-Levels.

My teaching method requires students to have read the text (be it poem or novel or play) beforehand. We then discuss in overview the themes and main characters (or narrator if there is only one character), and look at some key quotes that can be used in an exam to make a point. Afterwards we look at the exam board specification and discuss how to make sure each assessment objective is reached.
