About Shen
I am a Mechanical Engineering student from the University of Glasgow and currently living in Gullane during the summer holidays. I have no experience in teaching mandarin, but I am a native mandarin speaker(who was born and lived in China for 14 years, passed Higher English with an A ). I am confident that I am capable of teaching other people mandarin, both in writing and speaking.

My teaching method varies depends on the level of mandarin the student are currently on. For the students who starts with basics, I would teach them the basic pronunciation of mandarin words and the essence of how to read pinying. For those who are at a much higher level and understands basics, I would teach them more about sentence structures and expand their vocabulary by speaking mandarin with them or watching films and reading books.
