About Yavani
I have two degrees, BA degree majoring in English Literature and Psychology. In addition, I have my honours in Psychology.
I decided to pursue my TEFL because I wanted to become more seriously involved in education. Being an online tutor or a tutor in general is not just a way for me to make some extra money, or to keep me busy. It is a decision I made based on my career. This is not just a job for me. I am passionate about changing the lives of others through knowledge. This is a powerful gift every student has the potential to obtain. I am here to help them tap into that potential.

I am a professional and dedicated teacher. I am passionate about what I do and I believe lessons should be student-focused. The lesson should target what the students need, not necessarily what you think they may need. In my lessons, I incorporate plenty of speaking practice and take a genuine interest in students' likes and dislikes, so I know how to structure the lesson, what will appeal to them. I also firmly believe learning should be fun!
