Are you looking for support in Math or Science? I’m here to help you turn confusion into clarity and stress into success.
As an incoming student at McMaster University, I have recently navigated the very curriculum and academic challenges that many of my students are currently facing. This gives me a unique advantage. As well as knowing the subject matter, I also understand the pressure, the common pitfalls, and the specific study habits that lead to high grades in today’s classroom.

My philosophy is centered on active learning. I believe that science and math are languages that can be understood, not only memorized. I focus on building a strong foundation rather than just solving problems by rote. My goal is to demystify complex topics, turning "I can't do this" into "I understand how this works."
Every student processes information differently. I adapt my teaching style to match yours:
Visual learners: I use diagrams, color-coded notes, and graphing tools.
Analytical learners: I focus on the logic and derivations behind formulas.
Practical learners: We solve plenty of practice problems and real-world applications to ensure the concepts stick.
Here Is A Typical Lesson Plan With Me:
I structure my lessons to maximize engagement and retention (typically 60 minutes):
Review (5–10 mins): We quickly touch on the previous lesson’s topics.
Concept Deep-Dive (20 mins): I explain the core concept of the day using clear examples and simplified analogies.
Guided Practice (25 mins): We work through problems together. I start by guiding you, then gradually step back so you can solve them independently with my support.
Wrap-up & Goal Setting (5 mins): We summarize the key takeaways and identify any "homework" or topics to prioritize for next time.
I work with students from Elementary through High School and introductory University levels.
Subjects: Mathematics (Algebra, Calculus, Functions) and Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
