English

As an experienced educator, I’ve learned that teaching English isn't just about grammar—it’s about building a bridge between a student’s current reality and their future goals.

Here is how I structure my practice to ensure every student, from absolute beginners to professionals, finds success.

My Teaching Method and Techniques
I utilize a Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach combined with Scaffolding.

Student-Centered Learning: I follow the 70/30 rule: the student speaks 70% of the time, and I speak 30%. This maximizes "Student Talk Time" (STT).

The "Spiral" Method: We don’t just learn a concept once and move on. I revisit previous topics in new contexts to ensure long-term retention.

Real-World Application: For advanced learners, I use "Authentic Materials" (news articles, podcasts, business emails) rather than just textbooks to ensure the English is modern and natural.

A Typical Lesson Plan
Every 60-minute session follows a logical flow to build confidence:

The Warm-up (5 mins): A low-pressure conversation or "icebreaker" to transition the student's brain into English mode.

The Discovery (10 mins): I introduce a new concept or vocabulary set through a text or audio clip, allowing the student to "notice" the rules naturally.

Guided Practice (20 mins): We work through exercises together—correcting pronunciation and refining syntax in a safe environment.

Free Production (20 mins): The most vital part. The student uses the new language to discuss a topic, role-play a scenario, or debate a point.

Review & Feedback (5 mins): A summary of "wins" and a few specific areas to polish for next time.

What Sets Me Apart
As a UCF Graduate, I combine academic rigor with a high degree of cultural empathy. What truly sets me apart is my Adaptive Curriculum. I don’t believe in "one size fits all." If a student is a visual learner, we use digital whiteboards and infographics. If they are auditory, we focus on phonetic transcriptions and rhythm. I am not just teaching a language; I am coaching a skill.

Who the Lessons Are For
I offer specialized tracks for a diverse range of needs:

Beginners: Building a "Survival English" foundation (common phrases, basic sentence structure).

Intermediate/Academic: Students preparing for university-level discourse or standardized exams.

Advanced/Professional: High-level speakers looking to eliminate "fossilized errors," master business idioms, or polish public speaking skills.

Specificities: I can pivot to Business English depending on the student's career or academic requirements.
