Hello! And thank you for your time. Below is an excerpt of a lesson plan I did for the boys and girls club regarding Comic Book creating:
We will talk about the history of comics, some big names in their invention, and the overall process as we delve into the greatest hits of different studio’s, and also gain an understanding of how it takes a team of skilled writers, artists, editors, ect., to make or break a story. As we break down the process, we will work through each segments such as Character Design and Background Art, to cleanup and inking.
Below is a breakdown of the course syllabus and what we’ll be covering over the course of the semester:
Week 1: Introduction; Stan Lee and Character Design
-Introduction to the course
-Stan Lee Talk; How many characters do you know that he’s created?
-Create your own character design opening: What type of world is your character living in?
Discuss types of genres
Discuss what story elements you want
Final discussion and after class work
Write down the following
