Usually the problem which most students face in geometry is that they lack creativity. Cormac's ability to imagine constructs in his head is quite impressive, especially for someone of his age. In fact, he solved one of the questions by coming up with an imaginary construct that was quite simpler and more efficient than the one I used. Unfortunately, in school he had been pushed to just memorise rules and apply. He has the potential to join local competitions within 2 years if he joins a school that prioritises creative thinking over the classical analytical approach.
