About Anouska
I am a USC graduate with a BA in English and an IB Diploma, scoring 35/36 on the ACT. With five years of teaching experience and a background in literary agency work, I know what makes writing stand out—whether in essays, analysis, or storytelling. I've professionally tutored healthcare professionals for the OET, high school students for the SAT and ACT, and during my time in undergrad, I worked with Division-I student-athletes, receiving professional training in helping them with both their academic content and essential skills like time management. My approach is clear, structured, and engaging, designed to sharpen critical thinking and refine writing with real-world relevance. I don’t just teach mechanics; I help students develop confidence, creativity, and a voice that demands to be heard. Whether academic or professional, great writing opens doors—I’ll show you how to step through them.

I design each lesson to fit the student, focusing on essay writing, literary analysis, and critical thinking. My teaching is discussion-based, pushing students to think independently and engage deeply with texts. We break down readings, sharpen writing techniques, and refine ideas with structured feedback. As a USC English graduate with experience in editing and publishing, I emphasize clarity, structure, and creative interpretation. My goal isn’t just to improve writing—it’s to build confidence, spark deeper understanding, and help students develop a voice that’s both persuasive and unforgettable, whether in academics, professional settings, or personal expression.

Anouska is one of the best tutors I’ve worked with. She’s super organised and always comes prepared with a clear plan, but she’s also flexible and adapts to what I need help with. Her feedback is detailed and actually useful—she doesn’t just correct things, she explains why and helps me improve my writing overall. She’s also really easy to talk to, which makes lessons feel less like a class and more like a conversation.
I am a neurologist, and Anouska tutored me for my OET examination (English exam for healthcare professionals). She is young but very brilliant. She tries to meet my expectations with flexibility. She is kind and gentle, and always tries to make me feel more confident. Great tutor!
Ana knows her English but more importantly, I think she has the patience and the creativity to work with another person according to their context and understanding.
I think that is a wonderful skill to have in general and almost imperative if one is a teacher.
Anouska is the kind of tutor you want in your corner—clear, organised, and genuinely invested in her students. She explains things in a way that makes even complex ideas feel manageable, and she adapts to different learning styles with ease. Reliable and thoughtful, she gives sharp, constructive feedback without ever making you feel discouraged. Her lessons are structured but never rigid, creating space for real discussions and deeper understanding. If you want a tutor who’s not just knowledgeable but also patient, engaging, and committed to helping you improve, she’s the one to call.
