About Lila
I am a creative writing and English major studying to complete my Masters as a secondary teacher, residing in sunny Sydney, NSW. I have tutored Maths and English for primary and secondary students while privately employed. I am currently seeking to develop my own tutoring business.

I encourage my students to have confidence in tackling their weaknesses by creating a safe and comforting environment where I listen, observe and guide. I engage my students with creative and fun activities to ease them into after-school study. My students and I are part of a team, we both bounce off each other's ideas, opinions and questions. I focus on essay writing, creative writing, homework and assignment help, reading, phonetics, spelling, grammar and language techniques. My goal is to tailor each lesson to the learning style that my student responds positively to; whether that be audio or visual, hands on or demonstrative, I will find what works for the individual and structure my lessons around what they need.
