About Hazel
Hi, I'm Hazel, a Year 11 VCE student who is passionate about helping students build confidence and improve their math skills.
I have strong mathematical skills and experience helping classmates and younger students understand difficult concepts. I break down problems into clear, manageable steps and adapt my teaching style to suit each student's individual needs.
My goal is to help students improve their grades but also to develop their confidence, problem-solving abilities, and enjoyment of learning math.
I am patient, reliable, and committed to helping every student reach their full potential. I work with primary school students and lower secondary students, offering personalized support with homework, test preparation and math concepts.

I break down problems into simple, easy to understand steps and explain in different ways to suit each student's learning style. I focus on building confidence, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of key maths concepts through worked examples, practice questions, and regular feedback.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long. Shorter 30–45 minute sessions can also be arranged for younger students or those needing help with specific topics.
I am currently a Year 11 student with strong mathematical skills and experience helping classmates and younger students understand maths concepts.
My lessons are designed for primary school students and lower secondary school students (grades 1-8). Whether a student needs help catching up, completing homework, preparing for tests, or extending their skills, I tailor each lesson to their individual needs and learning goals.
