About Bennett
I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor with 12+ years of teaching experience and a record of successfully teaching around 150 students. I work with learners of all levels and aim to make saxophone learning clear, engaging, and rewarding.
My teaching approach is adaptable and encouraging. I customize lessons to match each student’s learning speed and musical goals, ensuring steady progress without pressure. I strive to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident to learn and improve.
Lessons focus on essential saxophone skills such as embouchure, breath support, tone clarity, finger technique, and rhythm control. As students improve, I help them develop musical expression through phrasing, articulation, and improvisation.
In addition to instrument training, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to support overall musical understanding. My goal is to help students build confidence and enjoy their musical journey.

My Saxophone teaching style emphasizes strong fundamentals, disciplined practice, and expressive musicality through Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I guide students step-by-step in developing steady airflow, controlled embouchure, precise fingering, and consistent tone.
Lessons include scale exercises, arpeggios, articulation drills, rhythm studies, and performance pieces. Accountability is maintained through structured practice routines and weekly progress tracking. I provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
Integrity ensures students develop proper technique and long-term musical habits. Besides Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, and Improvisation to strengthen overall musicianship.
