About Callie
I have been interested in literacy from a very early age. I have always found it to be a great way of self-expression or an escape from reality. In school, I always loved English class and was excited to help other students understand what we were learning in hope that they would find it as interesting as I did. But don't worry! If you are not passionate about literacy and are just trying to pass your course, I am more than willing to help!

My approach is student-based. For example, if you or your child is struggling to understand literary concepts (metaphors, symbolism), we may relate that back to real-life experiences with some extra homework to identify where those things are used in daily life. If the struggle is more related to enunciation, grammar, or focusing on the work, we will practice those skills during our tutoring session.
