About Simran
I’ve been an avid student of the sciences and have been passionate enough to pursue a career in Vet Science (in which I’m first year). I’d appreciate and gladly accept any student willing to learn from me, especially if you have an interest in the sciences. For those learners who don’t quite harbour an interest in science, don’t worry, I’ll try my best to make the lessons are as engaging as possible (and who knows, maybe you’ll also find interest in it - no pressure though). I just graduated high school so I’m really excited about my future prospects, especially working in an industry dedicated to animals! Some of my passions include music (I play guitar and saxophone and write music occasionally), reading, painting, my pets (I’ve got dogs and alpacas) and of course relaxing and watching a good Netflix show. I’m looking forward to teaching you along with even learning stuff from you and having some good chats!

I achieved NCEA Level 3 in 2021 with an excellence endorsement. Teaching methodology will include theory + going through questions, but will be tailored to the student. Typical length of a lesson is 1-1.5 hours, but can be flexible. Subjects available for tutoring include: Level 3 and lower Biology and Chemistry and Level 2 and lower Mathematics and Physics. I have 3 years of tutoring experience and a wide range of subject knowledge, so I am also able to tutor younger students not doing NCEA (material-dependent).
