About Isaac
I'm a Walkley-award winning journalist and a university student in my final year studying a Bachelor of Journalism/Arts (Philosophy/History) at the University of Queensland. I'm looking to transition into the education space now after spending the last few years involved in investigative journalism. I grew up in Brisbane, attended Ipswich Grammar School (class of 2018) and achieved an OP2 while I was there. I've travelled a lot (30+ countries!) and love to discuss travel and anything cultural.

I teach one-hour lessons with flexibility to extend to two hours depending on the requirements. In addition, I offer 24/7 access via voice messaging platform Voxer and free assignment review. My lessons generally start with a review of the students needs, what they are struggling with, and a plan for how we can achieve the results they desire. I offer a post-session summary of a student's performance in six key areas to maintain accountability and track results.
I endeavour to provide a more holistic experience for students, ensuring they are feeling good mentally about their schoolwork and giving them the skills and mindset required to succeed not only at their current assignments but into the future as well.
