About Sereena
My name is Sereena and I am a friendly and approachable first year student at the University of Warwick studying BASc Global Sustainable Development, with a passion for all things geography. After studying A levels in Economics Maths and Geography alongside an EPQ, I am confident I will be able to support you in your journey to securing a top grade! I achieved an A* in Geography A level alongside a 9 in GCSE, 70/70 on NEA coursework component, and an A* in my EPQ related to globalisation’s impact in the garments sector.
My approach is rooted in understanding how to draw links between content and case studies to minimise volumes of content to memorise, especially in preparation for long answer questions. I also provide guidance with UCAS applications and degree apprenticeships after successfully receiving offers from 5/5 universities and 4 top finance degree apprenticeships. Drop a message here to enquire about tutoring/services.

Lessons are completely tailored to student needs. For A level: guided help with understanding content for exams, types of questions asked and creating links to help support top level marks for long answer questions, exam technique, case studies and how to apply them in analysis, NEA support (70/70 ACHIEVED)— guidance with how to structure an academic paper (also can provide EPQ help if needed).
For GCSE: securing the understanding behind processes to fully understand how to approach questions and use case studies appropriately in answers, exam technique and how to use the marking criteria to maximise your time in an exam setting.
Any areas not understood in school can be raised and we can work through these with supported exam questions to see how it may be tested in the exam.
Sessions are typically 1h over Google meet at £25p/h. First session will include a complimentary 15-30 minute introduction getting to know each other and creating a plan of action. 2h sessions upon request.

I was taught by Sereena at school. Her teaching style is fantastic!!! Very friendly, approachable, and really detail-oriented, so she never let things slide if I didn’t fully understand them. She has a great way of explaining topics clearly without making you feel rushed. I would definitely recommend booking her as she is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you improve.
Sereena has given invaluable advice to my daughter regarding apprenticeship and university applications. My daughter has successfully received offers from her top universities and is going to be starting in September. Sereena has given her such a confidence booster to reach out to many people and make connections. I cannot thank Sereena enough for her words.
