About Jack
I am a former business and profile reporter, as well as a full-time project manager for a legal-writing company.
I was top of my literature and communication classes at university, and enjoy a diverse array of hobbies, including teaching.
I hold degrees in both Communications and Political Science from an accredited 4-year university.
My specialty is in linguistics and the inherent function of language, but my lessons tend towards language structure, writing fundamentals and reading comprehension.

I generally provide tutoring for reading comprehension and language structure, but I also accept students that need help with their SAT/ACT English section prepwork.
My classes typically focus on the high-school and college level, but students of all age are welcome.
If you are looking for a teacher that goes beyond the basics to help you or your child achieve a stronger grasp on the English language, then I encourage you to reach out.
Lessons generally begin with a small exercise, followed by 15-20 minute focus periods where we go over the day's primary lesson. Breaking the lesson into periods lets us touch on multiple areas while staying on the same topic.
We will usually finish with a brief review and exercise to work on until next time.
