About Mira
I want to teach because I know how much easier a subject can feel when someone takes the time to explain it in a way that makes sense to you. As a Year 12 student, I understand the challenges students face academically, and I want to use my own knowledge and experience to help others feel more confident, understand topics properly, and realise that they are capable of achieving more than they may think.

I am currently in Year 12 studying Geography and have developed a strong and well-rounded understanding of the subject, alongside a genuine enthusiasm for helping others learn. Having successfully passed Geography GCSE and progressed to studying it at a higher level, I have built a solid foundation across both physical and human geography. I am particularly thorough when explaining concepts and believe that understanding the reasoning behind a topic is just as important as memorising information. I take the time to explain ideas in depth, break down difficult concepts into clear and manageable sections, and adapt my explanations to suit different learning styles and abilities. I am confident in my geographical knowledge, patient in my approach, and passionate about helping students become more confident in a subject that can initially seem challenging. I believe these qualities would allow me to provide supportive, engaging and effective tutoring while helping students reach their full potential.
