About Madeisyn
About Me
Hi! My name is, Madeisyn Brooks and I’m a 17-year-old tutor who enjoys helping students learn and feel more confident in math. I understand that math can sometimes be challenging, so I try to make each lesson simple, comfortable, and easy to understand.
As a tutor, I’m patient, encouraging, and willing to explain things in different ways until they make sense. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand why the answer is correct.
I’m excited to work with students, help them improve their math skills, and support them as they reach their academic goals!

Lesson 1: Quadratic Equations
A quadratic equation usually looks like:
ax² + bx + c = 0
Example:
x² + 5x + 6 = 0
Factor it:
(x + 2)(x + 3) = 0
Set each part equal to zero:
* x + 2 = 0 → x = -2
* x + 3 = 0 → x = -3
Answer: x = -2 or x = -3
