About Sarah
As an elementary veteran teacher of 18 years, I am a mastery level small group educator. I am confident in the skill development of reading, writing, and math in Kinder-4th grade. Focusing on a student's learning style and accommodating to their interests makes me a wonderful option as a tutor. Sessions need to be focused on a student's needs, not necessarily what a curriculum says should be taught at that exact moment.

I have a background in a lesson plan framework that focused on explicit skill mini lessons, followed by lots of independent time to practice the explicit skill that was modeled. I am focused on pre-k - 4th grade students.
