About Charline
Developing title concepts and crafting rhyme schemes occupy most of my creative time. These skills allow me to build structure within a song. My BS from the USC Thornton School of Music provided the technical foundation for these methods.
I spent 7 years releasing my own records and refining my process. Helping students find their own voice remains the focus of my work.
Songwriting is a specific discipline. I specialize in pop, country, folk, and R&B conventions.
Melodic phrasing is essential to the hook. We examine how to build dynamics throughout a track. Recording demos allows us to hear the vision clearly.
