About Clare
Songwriting is a conversation between you and the listener. If you are a bedroom producer or a working musician, you know how hard it is to start.
I spent 4 years releasing my own tracks while helping others find their unique perspective. My degree from the BIMM Institute taught me the mechanics of rhyme schemes and metre.
I focus on helping career switchers and content creators refine their narrative voice. You will learn to navigate song structure while keeping your creative identity intact.
My aim is to help you feel comfortable rewriting until a song glows. I prefer a relaxed environment where your ideas flow naturally. Expect a patient partner who values your artistic vision above rigid rules.

The first session feels like opening a blank notebook to a fresh page. You will describe your goals while we map out a melody or a bridge. With 311 students taught, I offer insights into writing to a brief that actually work. We focus on point of view and lyrical editing.
Sometimes we just need to delete. I keep things grounded in craft. We finish a complete song together. Trust the process.
